About Pastor Harris
Pastor Harris was born and raised in the North (i.e. he is a @!#* Yankee) though
he did graduate from New Mexico Military Institute and Southwest Texas State
University. He was commissioned in 1978 as an officer in the Army Reserve. He
attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana graduating in
1983. He has served parishes in North Zulch, Texas (1983-87), Detroit, Michigan
(1987-90), Harvey, Louisiana (1990-99), and Trinity (1999-present). From 1983-1995
he served as a chaplain in the Army Reserve. In 1981 he was joined in holy
matrimony to Cheryl Herzberg of Creston, Iowa. (Now that's a real Yankee.)
God has blessed their lives with 5 children aged 11 to 19. His hobbies are hunting
and
fishing though he is good at neither.
